Terms of Service
MyAVBaby — Rack & Cable Studio
Effective 11 July 2026 · Last updated 11 July 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you", "your", "User") and Quelight Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16168474), registered office 13 Alexandra Road, London, N8 0PJ, trading as MyAVBaby ("MyAVBaby", "we", "us", "our"), operating the website and application at https://www.myavbaby.com (the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for AV and IT technicians, both individuals and teams. By using it you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. The Service
MyAVBaby is an infinite-canvas studio for planning equipment racks, placing devices, drawing colour-coded cable connections, and tracing signal paths. Features and functionality may change, expand, or be removed at any time.
4. Free and paid access
- Free tier — access to the Service supported by third-party advertising (see Section 12 and our Privacy Policy).
- Paid plans — full, ad-free access as set out in Section 9.
5. Private beta status
The Service is currently offered as a private beta, including for paid plans. This means:
- It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features.
- Features may change or be discontinued.
- You are responsible for keeping your own independent backups of your rack designs, cable maps, device data, and other content. We do not guarantee against data loss during the beta.
Nothing in this section removes your statutory right to a service carried out with reasonable care and skill (see Section 14).
6. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at quelight.info@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
7. Your content and data
You own your content. Rack layouts, device configurations, cable maps, IP addresses, host names, and any other information you enter ("Your Content") remain yours.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, back up, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter and store any information you upload, including any network, device, or client data.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or in breach of any applicable regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
9. Plans, pricing and billing
Current plans (prices in GBP; as we are not currently VAT-registered, no VAT is added):
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | £7.50 / month | Full access, billed monthly, recurring |
| 6-Month Pass | £42.00 one-off | 180 days of full access, one-time payment, non-recurring |
| 1 Year | £81.00 / year | Save 10%, billed annually |
| 2 Year | £72.00 / year | Save 20%, billed annually for 2 years |
| 3 Year | £63.00 / year | Save 30%, billed annually for 3 years |
- Payment processing. Payments are handled securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- Auto-renewal. Recurring plans (Monthly and the annual plans) renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. The 6-Month Pass is a one-off purchase and does not renew. We will attempt to notify you before an annual renewal where required by law.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods and will give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.
10. Cancellation
- You may cancel a recurring plan at any time from your account settings or by emailing quelight.info@gmail.com.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep paid access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- Cancelling does not, by itself, delete your account or Your Content; you can request deletion separately (see our Privacy Policy).
11. Refunds and your cancellation rights
Statutory rights (consumers). If you are a consumer (buying for purposes outside your trade or profession), you have a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Because the Service gives you immediate access to a digital service:
- By subscribing and starting to use the Service, you expressly request that it begins immediately and acknowledge that if you cancel within the 14-day period you may be charged a proportionate amount for the period you had access up to the point of cancellation; and
- Once the relevant service has been fully supplied with your prior consent, the statutory right to cancel may be lost.
To exercise a statutory cancellation right, email quelight.info@gmail.com within the cancellation period.
Discretionary refunds. Outside your statutory rights, payments are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, for unused time on a subscription, or for the 6-Month Pass once access has begun.
Faulty service. Nothing above affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the Service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, or is not as described.
12. Advertising (free tier)
If you use the free tier, we display third-party advertising, including via Google AdSense, within the Service. Paid subscribers do not see these ads. Ads are served by third parties who may use cookies and similar technologies; see our Privacy Policy and cookie settings for details and your choices. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the sites they link to.
13. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, the "MyAVBaby" and "Rack & Cable Studio" names, logos, and underlying code, is owned by Quelight Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you only the limited right to use the Service under these Terms.
14. Disclaimers
Except for the statutory rights that apply to you as a consumer, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" and we disclaim all other warranties.
MyAVBaby is a planning and documentation aid. It does not replace professional judgement, on-site verification, or compliance with applicable electrical, safety, and installation standards. You are responsible for verifying any design, cabling, or configuration before it is built or deployed.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for: (a) indirect, incidental, or consequential loss; (b) loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill; or (c) losses arising from data loss. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100.
16. Indemnity (business users)
If you use the Service for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against reasonable claims, damages, and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service. This section does not apply to consumers.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability) continue to apply.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
