1. Who we are

Quelight Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16168474), registered office 13 Alexandra Road, London, N8 0PJ, trading as MyAVBaby ("we", "us", "our"), operates https://www.myavbaby.com. We are the "data controller" for the personal data described here.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, password (stored securely/hashed), and account settings.
  • Project & usage content — rack layouts, device names, cable maps, IP addresses, host names, and other information you enter into your projects. Because this can include operational network data, we treat it as sensitive and secure it accordingly.
  • Payment data — if you buy a paid plan, our payment provider Stripe collects and processes your payment details. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited information such as your plan, payment status, and billing country.
  • Technical & usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interactions, collected automatically to run and improve the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.
  • Communications — any messages you send us.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with:

  • Stripe — our payment processor, to take and manage payments.
  • Google — for analytics and, for free-tier users, advertising (see Sections 5 and 6).
  • Service providers that host, secure, and run the Service on our behalf, under contract.
  • Authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used, which may involve cookies or similar identifiers. Where required, we ask for your consent before non-essential analytics cookies run. See Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. Advertising and Google AdSense (free tier only)

We display third-party advertising via Google AdSense to users on the free tier. Paid subscribers do not see these ads. The following disclosures apply:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ads Settings.
  • In the UK/EU you can opt out of some third-party cookies via youronlinechoices.com.
  • Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required to sign you in and run the Service. These do not need consent.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies — set only with your consent, via our cookie banner.

Because we are UK-based, we present a cookie consent banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential (analytics/advertising) cookies before they are set. This is required under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and by Google's EU/UK User Consent Policy for AdSense. You can manage or withdraw consent at any time via your cookie settings.

8. Data retention

We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active. After account closure we delete or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations (for example, payment and tax records) or to resolve disputes. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

9. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to: access your data; correct it; erase it; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact quelight.info@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UK (for example, to Google or other service providers hosted abroad), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

The Service is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email, and the "last updated" date will change.
